DAMARUKAM Review:

Damarukam starring King Nagarjuna and Anushka released today with super stunning hype  after lots of ups and downs in the release dates due to financial troubles . Premier reports for the movie are just outstanding with Super positive talk from everywhere. Let us check whether it is true or not ,

STORY:

Damarukam titles starts off with explanation about formation of universe  and the wars paved between demons and lords ,in those wars all the demons were  vanished  except  Andhakaasura ( Ravi Shankar) and his follower Maayi (Jeeva)  . Andhakaasura ( Ravi Shankar) will wait for the period to fade out all the lords by  getting the control on Panch Boothalu . Andhakaasura wants to regain the glory of demons and he waits until pancha graha kutami . For regaining the glory of demons, Andhakaasura need to kill  after marrying Maheswari (Anushka) who  born on necessary occasion  to get the hold on Pancha Boothas and entire planetary system . On the flip side Mallikarjuna (Nagarjuna) who born with blessings of LordShiva lost his parents by Andhakaasura which originates antagonism on Shiva. Remaining story deals with what is the relation between Anushka & Nagarjuna, did Andhakaasura got his desire or not is the Rest of the story .

Analysis on movie:
Nagarjuna characterization seems to be like Ragada ,he walked through the character of Mallikarjuna with tremendous ease but no speciality about Nagarjuna based on his performance.Ravi Shankar who played the role of Andhakaasura scored full marks with his acting and intensity especially in some frames  Ravi Shankar done fantastic job with his Mind Boggling performance ,his body language makes the role perfectly apt to him. Graphical work is just top notch and highlight of the movie. BackGround Score and Songs are one of the assets of the movie offered by DSP. Cinematography by ChotaKNaidu is good. Performance wise there is no scope for Anushka but the entire story moves around her , in this film Anushka was looking gorgeous than her previous. Srinivas Reddy  direction was very weak , he failed in building the intensity for many beautiful scenes such as “Smasanam Scene” . Comedy is very weak except  a few scenes. PrakashRaaj  as Lord Shiva doesnot suits him well .Gautam Venkatraman performance and looks were good.

Verdict:
Films of this Genre needs a Better execution, don’t go with expectations based on the premier show reports. One time watchable flick. It  can be marked as Average spinner.
